Data Specification Specialist

The technology department of FrieslandCampina Veghel is preparing for the future. In the coming years, the largest dairy processing factory in the world will further undergo a transformation towards a smart and sustainable factory, whilst implementation of major investments in new products. We will do that whilst continuously improve our manufacturing processes and expanding in capacity. Do you want to be responsible for parts of the described challenges in a highly complex production site in FrieslandCampina? Do you have experience in technology and in leading projects and change? FrieslandCampina Veghel is looking for a driven and proactive technologist that has the ambition to specialize in drying technology. At our site we operate 6 large spray driers with a multitude of products, that all have different product properties and quality and operating environments. Also, we have a set of roller driers for specific products. The operation of driers poses significant challenges towards the future. They are capital intensive, intrinsically high in energy consumption and determine product quality. In FrieslandCampina, we have a high ambition to optimize our spray drying network on aspects of sustainability (innovation, alternative energy & heat integration), economics (capacity, cost) and product quality. This person will play a role in realizing optimal execution and production stability, whilst also optimizing on and balancing mentioned aspects.

Wat we vragen

To be successful in this internship, you are/have:

• Currently 3rd of 4th year student in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field
• Strong communicator both verbally and in written, a hands-on attitude and proactive mindset with an eye for detail
• Fluent in English
• Currently and during your internship you are enrolled at a Dutch educational institute
• Available to start as soon as January 2023 for a minimum of 5 months.
