Associate Consultant (Rotterdam Office)

A research internship at OC&C offers university bachelor students the opportunity to work at a strategy consultancy firm. 

From day one, you will be supporting project teams to tackle exciting and complicated problems to help our clients. Depending on where there is support needed, you will switch between projects teams to lend a helping hand. Your primary role as a Research Intern is to gather and structure data, perform analyses and deliver project content. As such, you will be helping investors and corporate clients across a range of sectors and geographies with top quality insights.

To make sure you are fully equipped, you will participate in our regular training programs, experience continuous on-the-job training and receive regular formal feedback. Over four to six months you will work on multiple projects, giving you an opportunity to become very familiar with what it means to work in strategy consultancy and experience the culture at OC&C. 

Working in small teams means you will have exposure to all parts of the project and a chance to work closely with our consultants and partners. You will be part of the office and participate in all office activities, including social and networking events.

Starting dates are flexible.

An associate internship at OC&C offers students that (almost) completed their university study the opportunity to work as a consultant at a strategy consultancy firm. 

From day one, you will be part of a real project team and be responsible for tackling exciting and complicated problems to help our clients. Your role as an Associate Intern will be dependent on what is needed for the specific project. It can vary between conducting interviews, performing analyses or developing client output. In any case, you will be fully part of the project team and directly exposed to our investor and corporate clients across a range of sectors and geographies.

To make sure you are fully equipped, you will receive a week-long induction where you will have training in the consulting skills. In addition, you will participate in our regular training programs, experience continuous on-the-job training and receive formal feedback after every project. Over eight to twelve weeks you will be part of multiple project teams, giving you an opportunity to become very familiar with what it means to work in strategy consultancy and experience the culture at OC&C.

The Bachelor Associate Consultant Internship at OC&C offers university bachelor students the opportunity to work at a strategy consultancy firm. 

From day one, you will be supporting project teams to tackle exciting and complicated problems to help our clients. This internship has two aspects.

(1) At least once during your internship, you will be part of a real project team and be responsible for supporting one of our clients on a strategic topic. The tasks may vary based on the project, such as conducting interviews, performing analyses, or developing client output. The duration of our projects vary, but we aim for a project of at least 3 weeks.

(2) The remainder of your time with us, you will support or projects teams with gathering and structuring data, performing analyses, and delivering project content.

Throughout the internship, you will be one of our colleagues that helps our clients across a range of sectors and geographies with top quality insights.

During the internship, you will experience continuous on-the-job training and receive regular formal feedback.

The internship is full-time (i.e. 5 days a week). We are open to tailor the start and duration of the internship to your schedule and availability, but we advise to have at least two to three months so it is more likely for us to find a suitable project for you. It will also give you enough time to experience our office and participate in after-work activities. You will have theopportunity to become familiar with what it means to work in strategy consultancy and experience the culture at OC&C.
