Working in a challenging and international environment to enable Rabobank in providing relevant financial services to our Wholesale and Rural clients. As a Junior Software developer (Appian) you are responsible for configuring applications in the Client, Banker and Data (CBD) tribe. Together with the product owner, solution architect and DevOps team, you will realize the digital ambitions of Wholesale & Rural, and will be a key success factor in meeting those ambitions.

Your working area will be the Data & Connectivity area within the CBD tribe, the main objective of this area is to support client onboarding and be the golden source for client data of wholesale and rural customers.

Department and delivery unit

The Wholesale & Rural domain within IT Systems supports the wholesale and rural bank across the globe. The CBD tribe delivers and supports global business systems, including process automation in the areas of CRM, Client onboarding, KYC, Client Data Management, Cognitive Capture and Document Management. Examples of applications we develop and/or support are: ClientLink, Banker’s Cockpit, AMS, GCOB, FileNet, DataCap, Party Module, GCDS, R4 Workflow, WRR Datahub and the RBB portal. These applications vary in their life cycle, some applications are at the very beginning and some are at the end of their life cycle. The technology is a combination of ‘home grown’ applications and IBM, Appian and Microsoft package configurations.

Making a difference by

  • You work in a squad that is responsible for developing and maintaining the Party module. This application is responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding of wholesale and rural customers in Rabobank.

  • Working with a T shape profile. You are capable of running diverse roles: Appian developer, application designer and automation specialist. Together with the whole squad you are also responsible for the continuity of the application (which runs in the cloud).

With you

  • Academic working and intellectual level in the field of Computer Sciences

  • Good knowledge of Appian, required level is 2 or 3.

  • Worked on different Appian or Pega projects involving cases management, KYC, Client Life Cycle management.

  • Affinity with business critical service and object oriented applications.

  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and business aspects and to translate it in Appian solution.

  • Flexibility to switch between design / develop tasks and production incidents where the ability of problem solving is very crucial.

  • Affinity in working with and designing of different interface technologies and protocols (e.g. CMIS).

  • Background in programming is a plus (e.g. JAVA/.NET/SOAP).

  • Good command of English (business level)

  • a gross monthly salary between € 2.792,08- and € 3.300,- (scale 7), depending on knowledge, experience and education.

  • 100% reimbursement of the costs of home/work travel if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a home/work travel allowance.

  • A monthly € 40,- nett work-from-home allowance.

  • a pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 3,5%.

An exciting role where you support the successful implementation of FLM across the Wholesale, Rural and Retail business lines in the execution of their CDD processes. As Global FLM Consultant  you will play a key role in the team whose goal is to facilitate the global FLM Operating Model and develop and maintain all elements necessary to monitor and improve the quality of the Bank’s adherence to the CDD requirements through the proper execution of FLM. Your team will build on the results of the Client Onboarding Programme, where state of the art services like a training curriculum based on serious gaming and a new on boarding platform were delivered. You will further develop your organisation, also taking into account new technological developments in the market, interbank developments and Rabobank’s ambition to mature the position of CDD as key element the non-financial risk part of the bank.
